A modern townhouse

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. We’re going to start moving things into the new office this weekend. Moving in New York is the worst–wish us luck! We wanted to share one of our favorite projects featured in the December issue of Architectural Digest by Leroy Street Studio architects and Christine Markatos Lowe. There is something so serene and calming about this home, but it also seems incredibly functional for the big family that lives there.
Cooking in a kitchen like this would be a dream. We like how the designer used two different sets of pendant lights that are different but compliment each other.
Another bright and airy space in the dining room. Look at those herringbone floors! We’ll never tire of seeing Wegner chairs. Our favorite room of the house, the kid’s room. What a genius way to fit four beds in one room. And each child has their own little desk! The bunk beds and desks are made by a company called Nurseryworks.
We’re inspired by the juxtaposition of the traditional four poster bed with a C. Jere late 60’s mirror and a modern Patrick Naggar armchair. We’re dying to know where the little side tables are from! They are the perfect size for small, New York City bedrooms. Anyone know the source on these?

What do you guys think of this project? To us it feels incredibly livable while at the same time being very sophisticated.
