We’re obsessed with landscape designer Miranda Brooks and architect-husband Francois Hallard’s new Brooklyn home as photographed by Vogue. There is something totally magical about the way this house has been decorated. It’s full of color and whimsical details as well as a perfect mix of comfortable, cozy pieces and more modern, sculptural ones. Her daughters are also utterly adorable and are featured heavily throughout the photos. This is one of the daughters’ rooms covered in a hand painted Marthe Armitage’s Chestnut wallpaper. We love the shot of hot pink on the lead edge of the curtains. Her incredibly serene living room…Brooks and Hallard’s shared office in the carriage house. Where in Brooklyn is this amazing place with a carriage house?!?Brooks has her own private greenhouse in the bulkhead of the building.
Beautiful bookshelves styled in the most unfussy way.The master bedroom has a wall of custom colored De Gournay wallpaper with a bed built by Hallard. A custom bathtub in the master bedroom. The exposed beams in this room are so lovely. The sofa below was also built by Hallard. Incredible image of her daughter dressed up as Alice in Wonderland with their pony.
