Rebecca Simon

Painter Rebecca Simon is one of our favorite emerging young artists at the moment. Based in Brooklyn, Simon’s paintings explore social and psychological tension. The figures depicted are often victims of circumstance, they are caught in vulnerable situations or perform actions permeated with a sense of disquiet. Her work invites reflection on contemporary themes of femininity, societal norms, and power dynamics. We love to use Simon’s work in client’s homes because her paintings add a pop of color to blank walls, and they look just as good standing alone as they do a part of a gallery of different works.
