Antiquing in Maine

Good morning! We’re up in Maine this week antiquing for projects and our next One King’s Lane sale. We started in Bethel yesterday and made our way through towns called Mexico, Paris, and Peru (!!). We drove by some of the most beautiful bodies of water, like the Androscoggin river, below. maineWe made our way to Camden, ME (all the way east) last night to stay at a charming B & B right on the water and to have dinner at one of Todd English’s restaurants called Francine Bistro (so delicious!). Here’s a picture of the gorgeous old Victorian house we stayed in last night. bb2We love a porch filled with wicker furniture and striped cushions. This place was just oozing with charm!bb3
Today we’re shopping around Camden and Rockport before we make our way down to Wiscasset and Brunswick. Wish us luck!

Oh, I love this post because I have family in Maine and spent a lot of time there growing up. I’ve come to really appreciate all of the antique shops there now too!
