Hi Everyone! My name is Ariel and I’m the newest member of the GBGP Design team! You may see me around the blog more often so I wanted to take a second to introduce myself. A graduate of Florida State University’s interior design program, I decided to leave the sunshine and palm trees behind for a career in New York City. Moving here has been such an exciting journey and I could not be happier pursuing my design dreams alongside Suzanne & Lauren. In other news, I’m thrilled to announce that GBGP has been selected to design a table-scape for the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House’s Spring Gala! The theme is “A Spring Affair” and we’ve come up with three schemes that have us saying goodbye to this icy winter weather. Check out our top three contenders below:A bright chartreuse gingham from Schumacher (a) serves as the tablecloth while a whimsical LULU DK butterfly pattern (b) is used for the seat cushions. Kate Spade dinnerware (c) in a cerulean blue adds a nice pop of color and golden feather napkin rings (d) from NestPrettyThings on Etsy nod to nature.
A blue and white embroidered Schumacher fabric (a) makes a super chic tablecloth. A classic ticking stripe in blue and navy (b) on the seat cushions provides a nice graphic contrast. Kim Seybert placemats (c) and napkin rings (d) provide just the right amount of glam!Starting with a great fern pattern, “Les Fougeres”, (a) from Schumacher for the tablecloth, we landed on a cheery gingham from Schumacher (b) for the seat cushions. Kim Seybert bamboo accented dinnerware (c) and brightly colored tassel napkins (d) capture the spirit of the ultimate 1920s springtime affair.
