Restoration Hardware’s Diamante Rug

We love it when super high end designers sprinkle affordable, retail pieces throughout their projects. Yesterday we picked up the highly anticipated April issue of Architectural Digest to see that Michael S Smith used several rugs from Restoration Hardware throughout his own California home. When we opened up to the page below, we were inspired by Smith’s thoroughly modern use of a single Brunschwig & Fils fabric and couldn’t have been happier to read in the credits that the rugs were RH! This room is the ultimate high low.

prod2430580-vHave you picked up the new issue of AD yet? The April issue features homes of interior designers exclusively. We love seeing how other interior designers live, especially when they are the homes of the fabulous Michael S Smith, Alexa Hampton and David Kleinberg! Truly, though, it’s interesting to see how some of our favorite designers design when there are no client constraints and they can do exactly what they want to do. It’s always inspiring!

I know few people who would consider RH “low” in price!

  • goodbone

Low compared to the cost of the rest of the room!

  • The Office Stylist

I totally agree with you! I love the look of both of these rooms and it’s even better with its low price. Obsessed with the neutral color theme in the second room. So sophisticated.
