Guided by years of experience in residential design, Suzanne and Lauren established their firm in 2010 in New York City. With backgrounds in decorative arts, Lauren studied art history at Bowdoin College while Suzanne studied interior design and decorative art history at Parsons The New School for Design, working together seemed an inevitability. They began taking on projects combining years of experience as well as their mutual trust of one another’s taste. Eight years later, Suzanne and Lauren are still hands on during every step of the design process with each partner bringing their unique perspective to every decision. Their first book, Good Bones, Great Pieces, was published in 2012.
McGrath II’s work has appeared in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Domino, Lonny, and Better Homes & Gardens.
